Aviapin A319-111 G-EZII pin badge - ex Easyjet aircraft
Aviapin is pleased to present a new airline and aircraft manufacturer to the range with this limited edition pin badge, produced from Easyjet Airbus A319-111, G-EZII. Available in the airline’s distinctive orange, the pin badge is mounted on a collectable backing card featuring an illustration of the aircraft and information about the particular airframe on the back. The pin badge is made from authentic aircraft skin featuring the original Easyjet paint and includes a sprung locking pin back, for an extra secure fixing. The badge is 18mm across and available in 2 variations, "II" for the last two letters of the aircraft's registration for the aircraft, and "A319" for the type.
G-EZII joined Easyjet in 2005 and flew with the airline until 2020, when it was retired to eCube Solutions, the aircraft scrapping company based at St Athan in South Wales. II was one of 172 A319s operated by the budget carrier, and as of 2022, the remaining A319s are being retired and replaced with the larger but more efficient A320neo. II served many of Easyjet’s short haul routes, and had the distinction of being one of the few airframes in the airline’s fleet to carry a name – “Spirit of easyjet 2018, Team Tegel”.
G-EZII is the fifth edition from Aviapin and will be followed by further exciting releases featuring current and historical aircraft. Keep up to date with all new release news by following @aviapin on Instagram.
Please note that due to the active life of the fuselage skin from which these pieces are made, there can be some variation in colour and finish. Some have scratches on the paintwork, but these are not faults; they are evidence of the millions of miles flown by this aircraft through freezing rain and baking sun.
